Two cameras sit where your eyes would. The VitaPixel SVS takes the binocular view through your own slit lamp and puts it in front of you in true stereo 3D, in our Display Glasses, so you sit up instead of folding into the oculars. It fits any brand of lamp, and the lamp itself never changes.
Learn moreA conventional camera flattens the binocular view into a single 2D image. The SVS keeps the left and right channels separate from the eyepieces to the glasses.
Behind each eyepiece sits a high-sensitivity imaging sensor, chosen for a bright slit beam next to structures in shadow. Its high dynamic range is designed to hold the brightest beam and the darkest shadow at the same time.
The cameras look through your slit lamp’s own eyepieces, capturing the view through the optics and magnifications you already use.

Real slit lamp exams, from the lids to the optic nerve.

Our Display Glasses put an OLED screen in front of each eye, so the view arrives the way the oculars deliver it, with real depth. Nothing between you and the patient but a pair of glasses.
The mount is designed to fit the binocular optics slit lamps have shared for decades, whatever badge is on the front, and nothing about the instrument changes.
Capture what catches your eye, review it right away, and revisit earlier sessions, all from the touchscreen beside you.
Flip the cameras up and you are back at the oculars in a few seconds, with the slit lamp exactly as it was. Use the glasses for the exams that suit them and the direct optics for the ones that don’t.
Share your slit lamp brand and model with the team to discuss the setup you use.
